Managed Game Development for Prototypes, Features and Vertical Slices
Turn a game idea or existing project into a build your team can actually play, test and own
Game development turns a design concept into an interactive software build: player input, movement, rules, game states, UI, progression, save behaviour, asset integration and platform-specific performance all have to work together. Rudrriv manages the delivery as a professional service, so the customer does not have to search for separate programmers, technical artists, testers or coordinators for a bounded project.
The service is designed for practical scopes such as validating a core game loop, building a playable MVP or vertical slice, adding a defined set of gameplay systems, improving an existing project, or preparing a stable build for broader playtesting. A package is not presented as a substitute for a full AAA or long-running live-service production; larger work is scoped separately.
What this service can cover
- Gameplay implementation: player controls, movement, camera behaviour, interactions, rules, win/lose states and other agreed core mechanics.
- Game systems: UI/HUD, menus, pause/settings, save states, checkpoints, scoring, basic inventory or progression where included.
- Scene and level setup: agreed playable scenes or levels using supplied, placeholder or licensed assets appropriate to the scope.
- Engine work: Unity, Unreal Engine or Godot implementation when the chosen engine matches the project and available inputs.
- Testing and stability: gameplay checks, collision and state testing, bug fixing within scope, basic performance review and build verification.
- Build and handoff: target-platform test build, organized source project and concise handoff notes for the agreed package.
What we need from you
Share the game concept, target player and platform, core mechanic, expected scenes or levels, controls, reference games, available art/audio, preferred engine if there is one, and any integrations you already know you need. For an existing project, include the source project or repository, engine version, package dependencies, current build and known issues. Rudrriv uses those inputs to confirm what fits the selected package before development begins.
How the managed game-development process works
01
Scope the playable goal
Rudrriv reviews the mechanic, platform, engine, assets and success criteria, then confirms the bounded deliverables and assigns suitable professionals.
02
Build the core experience
The agreed gameplay systems, scenes, UI and supporting logic are implemented with review checkpoints before major scope decisions are locked.
03
Playtest, QA and refine
The build is tested against the agreed flow, states, controls and target environment; tracked feedback is applied within the package revision allowance.
04
Deliver build and source
You receive the agreed test build, organized source project and handoff notes so the project can move into wider playtesting or the next production phase.
Scope boundary: real-time multiplayer, authoritative servers, console certification, large original art/audio production, complex economies, anti-cheat, LiveOps and full commercial-game production can be managed by Rudrriv, but they require a custom scope rather than being silently folded into starter packages.
