Sophie Wagner🇩🇪 GermanyRating 4.7/5
What stood out in our Cloud and Cybersecurity engagement was how quickly the team understood the practical goal behind the brief. We needed a cloud and security improvement plan, with enough flexibility to handle feedback without losing control of the scope. The team consistently checked decisions against cloud architecture, identity access, network controls, logging, backup strategy, and security hardening. When we changed priorities, the team adjusted the plan without letting the project become disorganized. By the end, we had a clearer, better-protected cloud environment with practical controls our team could maintain. We also appreciated that the final recommendations were prioritized, so we knew what mattered now and what could wait.

About This Cloud & Cybersecurity Service

A managed assessment and improvement plan for cloud security posture

Cloud environments can become difficult to secure as identities, services, regions, integrations and deployment methods grow. This service gives businesses a structured review of the cloud controls that matter most, then turns the findings into a prioritized improvement plan that your technical team can act on.

Rudrriv manages the engagement from requirements through delivery. The work can cover AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or an agreed multi-cloud scope. Professionals are matched to the environment, the assessment is quality-reviewed, and findings are organized around practical risk rather than generic security language.

What this service covers
  • Cloud architecture and account structure: review of the agreed accounts, subscriptions, projects, regions and key service boundaries.
  • Identity and access management: privileged roles, excessive permissions, MFA posture, service identities and least-privilege concerns.
  • Network and exposure controls: security groups, firewall rules, public endpoints, storage exposure and segmentation concerns relevant to the scoped platform.
  • Logging and detection: audit logging, monitoring coverage, security alerts and visibility gaps that can affect incident detection.
  • Data protection: encryption, key and secret handling, storage controls and configuration patterns that can expose sensitive data.
  • Backup and recovery: backup coverage, recovery assumptions and resilience controls relevant to the services in scope.
  • Security hardening: review against provider guidance and applicable CIS Foundations-style configuration baselines where appropriate.
  • Remediation planning: findings prioritized by severity, likely impact, implementation effort and dependency so teams know what to address first.
Scope boundary: the standard packages are security posture assessments, not active penetration tests. The review is read-only by default. Exploitation, intrusive testing or production changes require a separately agreed scope, explicit authorization and appropriate change controls.
What we need from you

Share the cloud provider, the accounts or tenants you want reviewed, a high-level architecture or resource overview if available, the workloads that matter most, known security concerns, current compliance or benchmark requirements, your preferred access method and the deadline for the assessment. Least-privilege, read-only or security-auditor access is preferred for the review phase.

How the managed security process works
01
Scope & access

Rudrriv confirms the cloud estate, business priorities, access method, exclusions and any benchmark or compliance context.

02
Assess controls

The assigned professionals review architecture, IAM, network exposure, logging, data protection, recovery and configuration posture.

03
Prioritize risk

Findings are reviewed for context, dependencies and severity so the final output emphasizes actionable issues instead of raw tool noise.

04
Deliver & hand off

You receive the report, remediation roadmap and package-specific handoff or re-check so the next security actions are clear.

Designed for practical ownership

The goal is not to overwhelm your team with security terminology. The final deliverables explain what was reviewed, what needs attention, why it matters, what should be fixed first and which items can reasonably wait. That makes the work useful to engineers, managers and stakeholders who need a shared view of cloud risk.

Frequently Asked Questions

A cloud security assessment reviews the agreed cloud accounts, subscriptions or projects for security posture issues such as excessive identity permissions, public exposure, weak network controls, missing logging, encryption or secrets gaps, backup and recovery weaknesses, and configuration drift. Findings are prioritized with practical remediation guidance.
Rudrriv can scope managed assessments for AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. The exact services reviewed depend on your environment, package and the accounts, subscriptions or projects you authorize for assessment.
Not by default. The assessment is designed around least-privilege, read-only or security-auditor access wherever the platform supports it. Any broader access needed for separately approved remediation work is agreed before changes are made.
The assessment itself is read-only by default and does not intentionally change production resources. If you want Rudrriv to implement remediation, that work is scoped separately or explicitly included in a custom engagement with written authorization and change controls.
No. A cloud security assessment focuses on configuration, identity, exposure, logging, resilience and security posture. Active exploitation or penetration testing is a different activity and is only performed when separately scoped, authorized and appropriate for the target environment.
A focused single-cloud baseline can typically be delivered in about 7 business days. Broader single-cloud or multi-cloud assessments usually require about 10–15 business days, depending on the number of accounts, services, regions, access constraints and complexity.
Share your cloud provider, account or tenant structure, key workloads, regions, architecture notes if available, current security concerns, compliance or benchmark requirements, preferred access method, known incidents or changes, and any deadline that affects the assessment.
You receive a documented security assessment with prioritized findings, business and technical context, remediation recommendations, and a practical roadmap for what to fix first. Professional and Advanced packages also include a structured handoff session, and the Advanced package includes one remediation re-check.
Yes. Rudrriv can scope follow-on hardening, remediation support, configuration changes, additional testing or periodic reassessments. Follow-on work is confirmed separately so access, change risk, responsibilities and deliverables remain clear.
Choose Essential for one contained cloud account or project that needs a baseline review. Professional is suited to a broader single-cloud environment with up to two accounts or subscriptions and a more detailed remediation plan. Advanced is intended for multi-account or multi-cloud environments that also need infrastructure-as-code or container configuration review and a post-remediation re-check.

This Cloud and Cybersecurity project started with a short list of problems, but the team helped us see the dependencies between them. The core of the engagement was a cloud and security improvement plan, and the team avoided distracting us with features that were outside the goal. The quality showed most clearly in the way they handled cloud architecture, identity access, network controls, logging, backup strategy, and security hardening. Feedback was incorporated carefully, and completed work did not keep regressing after each revision. The completed work gave us a clearer, better-protected cloud environment with practical controls our team could maintain. We would use the same team again for related work because the delivery was dependable without being over-engineered.

We approached this Cloud and Cybersecurity project with a working system already in place, which meant changes had to be made carefully. The agreed deliverable was a cloud and security improvement plan, with room for a few controlled adjustments as we learned more. Details involving cloud architecture, identity access, network controls, logging, backup strategy, and security hardening were tested and reviewed rather than assumed to be fine. The project stayed organized even when we introduced new information midway through the work. By launch, we had a clearer, better-protected cloud environment with practical controls our team could maintain. The project ended in a much better state than it began, both technically and from an ownership perspective.

The Cloud and Cybersecurity engagement was our first time outsourcing this part of the stack, so a clear process mattered to us. Their job was to produce a cloud and security improvement plan, and they handled both the visible work and the less obvious technical details behind it. The work was careful around cloud architecture, identity access, network controls, logging, backup strategy, and security hardening, and that reduced the number of issues found late in the project. Updates were consistent, and every revision had a clear reason behind it. The final result was a clearer, better-protected cloud environment with practical controls our team could maintain. We would use the same team again for related work because the delivery was dependable without being over-engineered.

We hired the team for Cloud and Cybersecurity after realizing our internal approach was taking too much time to stabilize. The scope focused on a cloud and security improvement plan, with sensible checks before anything was moved into production. They paid close attention to cloud architecture, identity access, network controls, logging, backup strategy, and security hardening, which were exactly the areas we were concerned about. They kept momentum without rushing decisions that could have affected stability later. What we received in the end was a clearer, better-protected cloud environment with practical controls our team could maintain. The project ended in a much better state than it began, both technically and from an ownership perspective.

The goal of our Cloud and Cybersecurity project was straightforward, but the underlying technical details were not, and the team handled that well. The core of the engagement was a cloud and security improvement plan, and the team avoided distracting us with features that were outside the goal. We were particularly happy with the attention to cloud architecture, identity access, network controls, logging, backup strategy, and security hardening. The handoff process was clear, with enough explanation for our team to understand what had changed and why. The completed work gave us a clearer, better-protected cloud environment with practical controls our team could maintain. The final files and notes were organized, and we were able to move directly into the next phase.

Our Cloud and Cybersecurity brief was fairly specific, and the team picked up the context quickly without forcing us through unnecessary process. The agreed deliverable was a cloud and security improvement plan, with room for a few controlled adjustments as we learned more. The team made strong decisions around cloud architecture, identity access, network controls, logging, backup strategy, and security hardening and explained the reasoning when we asked. Their communication was practical and specific, which made technical decisions much easier for our non-technical stakeholders. We finished the project with a clearer, better-protected cloud environment with practical controls our team could maintain. We also appreciated that the team left clear recommendations for the next improvements instead of trying to expand the scope during delivery.
