Rating 5/5
The final result from our Infographic Design project was strong and closely aligned with the brief. The team created a data-led infographic while keeping a close eye on information hierarchy, chart clarity, visual storytelling, iconography, and source readability. Early concepts developed consistently through feedback without becoming overworked. Delivery stayed on schedule, and questions were answered clearly throughout the engagement. We ultimately achieved a complex topic that became much easier to understand at a glance. The source files were easy to navigate and practical for our team to continue using.

About This Vector Tracing Service

Convert raster artwork into practical, editable vector files

Vector tracing rebuilds pixel-based artwork as mathematical paths, shapes and fills. It is useful when a logo, icon, sketch or graphic exists only as a JPG, PNG, scan or low-resolution reference but needs to be enlarged, edited, printed sharply or supplied in professional vector formats.

Rudrriv delivers vector tracing as a managed service rather than an individual freelancer engagement. You provide the source and intended use; Rudrriv matches the work to an appropriate professional, coordinates execution, reviews the output and manages revisions before final delivery.

What this service covers
  • Manual reconstruction of suitable logos, icons, badges, line art, sketches and flat graphics.
  • Path cleanup with smoother curves, cleaner corners and practical anchor-point placement.
  • Shape and colour recreation based on the available source reference.
  • Typography reconstruction or outlining where the source makes lettering clear enough to reproduce.
  • Editable vector output in formats such as AI, SVG, EPS and vector PDF according to package scope.
  • High-resolution PNG previews for review and convenient non-vector use.
  • Organized layers or grouped objects for broader packages where future editing matters.
  • Quality review for obvious path breaks, rough edges, alignment issues and export consistency.
What we need from you

Send the clearest source file you have and explain what the artwork is used for. Include any known brand colours, original font information, required output formats, print or production specifications, and whether the goal is faithful reproduction or light cleanup. If several assets need tracing, include the quantity and identify which files are highest priority.

How vector tracing works
01
Source review

Rudrriv checks the reference quality, complexity, quantity, intended use and required formats.

02
Manual reconstruction

Shapes, curves, lines and colours are rebuilt as vector objects rather than simply enlarged as pixels.

03
Quality review & revisions

The traced artwork is checked for path quality and compared with the supplied reference before feedback is applied.

04
Vector file delivery

Approved source and export files are organized and delivered in the formats included with your package.

When tracing needs interpretation

Vector tracing can faithfully reproduce clear source artwork, but it cannot recover detail that is absent from a very small, blurred or compressed image. Photographic shading, complex textures and illegible text may need simplification, illustration work or additional reference material. Rudrriv flags these issues during scope review instead of hiding them inside an automated trace.

Frequently Asked Questions

Vector tracing is the process of rebuilding a raster image such as a JPG or PNG as editable vector paths. The result can be scaled up or down without the pixelation associated with bitmap artwork.
Rudrriv can trace suitable logos, icons, line art, sketches, badges, flat illustrations and other graphics from raster images, scans or reference files. Highly photographic images may require illustration or stylization rather than straightforward tracing.
Send the clearest source you have, such as a PNG, JPG, PDF, scan or screenshot. A larger, sharper reference usually allows more accurate reproduction of edges, lettering and small details.
Depending on the selected package, delivery can include AI, SVG, EPS and vector PDF files, plus a high-resolution PNG preview. If you have a specific production workflow, mention the required format in your brief.
Often yes, but missing detail cannot always be recovered exactly. Rudrriv will reconstruct visible shapes and may need your guidance where small lettering, fine lines or original proportions are unclear.
Yes. Automatic tracing can create excessive anchor points, uneven curves and noisy edges. This managed service uses manual reconstruction and cleanup where needed so the final paths are easier to edit and more suitable for practical production use.
Colours can be matched to the supplied reference as closely as practical. For typography, supplying the original font name or font file helps; otherwise lettering may need to be outlined or reconstructed from the visible source.
Simple assets are commonly delivered in about one day, while more detailed or multi-asset work needs additional time. The package delivery estimate applies after Rudrriv has a usable source file and clear requirements.
A correctly prepared vector file can be scaled for many print and display applications without losing edge sharpness. Final suitability can still depend on the printer, colour mode, spot-colour requirements, cutting paths or other production specifications.
Vector tracing is primarily a faithful reconstruction service, not a logo redesign. Small cleanup needed to reproduce the source is included within scope, while substantial creative changes, new concepts or rebranding should be scoped separately.

We hired the team for Infographic Design and needed a data-led infographic. The brief was handled carefully, especially around information hierarchy, chart clarity, visual storytelling, iconography, and source readability. Communication stayed clear, and revisions were incorporated without losing the original direction. The final delivery gave us a complex topic that became much easier to understand at a glance. Files were organized, practical to use, and clearly prepared for the next stage. The work felt tailored to our requirements rather than based on a generic template.

Our Infographic Design brief had several moving parts, but the process stayed focused. The team translated our requirements into a data-led infographic. We especially valued the attention to information hierarchy, chart clarity, visual storytelling, iconography, and source readability. They responded quickly to comments and also explained when a requested change would weaken the design. The finished work resulted in a complex topic that became much easier to understand at a glance. The handoff was polished, easy to review, and much stronger than our previous internal version.

This was our first time outsourcing Infographic Design, and the engagement was very well managed. We started with a rough direction for a data-led infographic. The strongest contribution was the attention to information hierarchy, chart clarity, visual storytelling, iconography, and source readability. Detailed feedback was handled thoughtfully, and design choices were explained when we needed help deciding. By the end, we had a complex topic that became much easier to understand at a glance. The final assets felt custom to the project and arrived in a clean, usable structure.
