This was our first time outsourcing Fashion & Merchandise, and the engagement was very well managed. We started with a rough direction for a fashion and merchandise design collection. The strongest contribution was the attention to brand fit, product variety, print placement, production practicality, and visual consistency. Detailed feedback was handled thoughtfully, and design choices were explained when we needed help deciding. By the end, we had merchandise concepts that felt cohesive and commercially usable. The final assets felt custom to the project and arrived in a clean, usable structure.

Professional T-Shirt & Merchandise Design for Real Production Use

Artwork built around the product, print method and brand

T-shirt and merchandise design is more than placing a logo on a mockup. The artwork has to suit the product surface, remain readable at the intended print size, work against the garment or product colour, and arrive in files a printer or print-on-demand platform can actually use. Rudrriv manages the design service from brief through final handoff, matching the work to the creative and production requirements you provide.

This managed service is suitable for brands launching merchandise, ecommerce and print-on-demand stores, corporate or event teams, creators, clubs, communities and businesses that need a coordinated apparel or promotional-product visual without managing separate designers themselves.

What this service can include
  • Custom artwork and typography: original graphic directions, lettering, illustration-led concepts or brand-led compositions developed around the brief.
  • Placement planning: front, back, chest, sleeve or product-surface placement considered against the selected garment or merchandise item.
  • Product adaptations: approved artwork resized or re-composed for additional products and placements when included in the package.
  • Production-ready exports: transparent high-resolution PNG and print-ready PDF files, with editable vector/source files in the Professional and Advanced tiers.
  • Colourway development: practical variations for different garment or product colours according to the purchased scope.
  • Mockups: presentation previews that help you review scale and placement before production.
  • Managed review: feedback is consolidated into the included revision rounds and checked against the agreed scope before final delivery.
Common business and creator use cases

Typical briefs include branded team apparel, employee or event merchandise, launch collections, creator merchandise, streetwear graphics, community or club clothing, promotional giveaways, ecommerce products and artwork for print-on-demand storefronts. A single design can be kept deliberately simple, while broader packages can coordinate several graphics and applications into one merchandise system.

What Rudrriv needs from you

Share the product or garment type, base colours, required wording, logos or brand files, target audience, preferred visual style, intended print positions, approximate print size and any reference material. If you already know the print method, printer, print-on-demand platform or template, provide those specifications so the artwork can be prepared around the right production constraints.

How the managed design process works
01
Brief & production context

Rudrriv reviews the product, brand, audience, placement, style and known print requirements before execution begins.

02
Artwork development

The assigned professional develops the purchased design scope with attention to hierarchy, scale, garment colour and practical output.

03
Review & refinement

You provide consolidated feedback within the included review rounds while Rudrriv keeps revisions aligned to the agreed deliverables.

04
Quality check & handoff

Approved artwork is exported in the package formats, organised for use and delivered with the included mockups, source files or notes.

Production considerations that matter

Different print methods have different artwork requirements. Screen printing often benefits from clean vector shapes and controlled colours; DTG and DTF can support more detailed raster artwork when the resolution and transparency are appropriate; print-on-demand platforms may provide fixed canvas sizes or templates. Rudrriv prepares the creative files around the requirements you supply, but printer-specific separations, embroidery digitisation, underbase settings, specialist prepress or manufacturing tests are separate unless explicitly included in the scope.

Scope boundary: standard packages cover design and digital artwork handoff. Physical samples, garments, printing, manufacturing, fulfilment, shipping, paid stock or font licences, trademark clearance and specialist production services are not included unless separately agreed.

Frequently Asked Questions

The service covers creative direction, custom merchandise artwork, print-placement planning, review rounds and final production-ready files according to the selected package. Higher packages add broader product coverage, editable source files, more mockups and more colorway or placement variations.
Every package includes high-resolution transparent PNG artwork and a print-ready PDF. Professional and Advanced packages also include editable vector or source files where appropriate, such as AI, EPS or SVG, plus the package-specific mockups and placement guidance.
Yes. Artwork can be prepared with screen printing, DTG, DTF or print-on-demand workflows in mind when you provide the printer or platform requirements. Exact separations, underbase settings and machine-specific production steps may require your printer's specifications and can be scoped separately when needed.
Yes. The Professional package can cover a small coordinated set or adaptations across up to two products or placements. The Advanced package is designed for a broader collection with adaptations across up to four merchandise products or placements.
Editable source files are included in the Professional and Advanced packages when the artwork is created in an editable vector or layered format. The Essential package focuses on final high-resolution print-ready outputs.
No. The standard packages cover design and production-ready artwork, not garment printing, merchandise manufacturing, fulfilment or shipping. If you need production coordination, mention it in the enquiry so Rudrriv can assess whether it can be scoped separately.
Share your brand assets, product or garment type, base colours, intended print locations, approximate print dimensions, required wording, target audience, style references, deadline and any printer or print-on-demand template you already have. If the print method is known, include that too.
Essential includes one review round, Professional includes two review rounds and Advanced includes three review rounds. A review round is best used for consolidated feedback on the agreed scope; new concepts, extra products or major scope changes can require a custom quote.
Yes. Provide your logo, brand guidelines, approved colours, typography rules and examples of existing brand material. When exact production colours matter, also provide the printer's colour requirements or approved Pantone references so the artwork can be prepared against the correct production context.
Final usage depends on the agreed order terms and the assets used. Customer-supplied logos and brand assets remain the customer's responsibility, while third-party fonts, stock elements or other licensed materials remain subject to their original licences. If you need specific IP-assignment language, include that requirement before work begins.
