Léa Richard🇫🇷 France★★★★★ 5Fashion Design
The final result from our Fashion Design project was strong and closely aligned with the brief. The team created a fashion design concept collection while keeping a close eye on silhouette, proportion, materials, detailing, wearability, and range development. Early concepts developed consistently through feedback without becoming overworked. Delivery stayed on schedule, and questions were answered clearly throughout the engagement. We ultimately achieved a more complete collection direction for sampling and presentation. The source files were easy to navigate and practical for our team to continue using.

About This Jewelry Design Service

From Design Direction to CAD Handoff, Managed by Rudrriv

Jewelry design turns a product idea into a defined visual and technical direction that can be reviewed, presented and, when CAD is included, prepared for manufacturer discussion. Rudrriv supports brands, retailers, manufacturers, custom jewelry businesses and private clients that need specialist design execution without sourcing and coordinating individual designers themselves.

The work can begin from a written idea, mood board, rough sketch, reference image, existing piece or stone specification. The exact scope depends on whether you need early-stage concept development, a single production-oriented CAD model, or a coordinated small collection with presentation assets.

What this service can include
  • Original design direction for rings, pendants, earrings, bracelets, bangles, necklaces, signets and related pieces.
  • Proportion studies, front and side views, dimension callouts and material or gemstone notes.
  • 3D CAD modeling in CAD-inclusive packages, with geometry developed around the agreed dimensions and setting requirements.
  • Stone-seat, prong, pavé, channel or other setting considerations where they are part of the approved brief.
  • 3DM source files and STL production exports in the Professional and Advanced packages.
  • Presentation renders that help internal teams, customers or production partners review the proposed piece before physical production.
  • Technical dimension/reference sheets and organized handoff files according to the selected package.
  • Managed feedback, revision coordination and a final scope check before delivery.
What we need from you

Provide the jewelry type, intended user or market, target dimensions or size, preferred metal, gemstone details and measurements when known, setting preferences, style references, branding cues, manufacturing constraints supplied by your workshop, required CAD formats and deadline. The more exact the stone and fit information is, the more efficiently the design can move from concept to CAD.

How Rudrriv manages the design process
01
Brief & feasibility

Rudrriv reviews the piece type, dimensions, materials, stone information, references, intended use and required outputs.

02
Concept direction

A matched jewelry professional develops the proportion, form, setting direction and visual language around the approved brief.

03
CAD & technical refinement

Where included, the concept is developed into 3D CAD with agreed dimensions, stone seats, clearances and source-file requirements.

04
Review, QA & handoff

Feedback is consolidated, the selected scope is quality-checked, and approved presentation or CAD files are packaged for handoff.

Designed for useful handoff, not just attractive visuals

A strong jewelry design needs to communicate both aesthetic intent and practical geometry. For CAD-inclusive scopes, the model is reviewed against the agreed dimensions, setting layout and deliverable requirements. Because casting methods, shrinkage, finishing allowances and workshop tolerances differ, the receiving manufacturer should still complete its own production validation before metal is cast or stones are set.

Frequently Asked Questions

The service covers jewelry concept development and, depending on the package, 2D design views, 3D CAD modeling, technical dimensions, presentation renders, source files and production-oriented handoff. Rudrriv manages professional assignment, review coordination and quality control from brief to final delivery.
Share the piece type, intended customer or use, preferred style, key dimensions or size, metal, gemstone type and dimensions where known, setting preferences, reference images, required file formats and deadline. For redesign work, include clear photos or existing drawings when available.
Yes. A rough sketch, annotated photo, mood reference or written description can be used as a starting point. References are treated as direction; the final design should be developed as an original solution rather than copied from another maker’s protected design.
No. The Essential package is a 2D concept package. The Professional and Advanced packages include 3D CAD deliverables. Production suitability still depends on the final material, stone, casting process and manufacturer tolerances, so your manufacturer should complete its own production check before casting.
The Essential package includes JPG, PNG and PDF presentation files. The Professional and Advanced packages include 3DM and STL CAD files in addition to presentation outputs. If your manufacturer requires another format such as STEP or OBJ, mention it before the scope is confirmed.
Standard package estimates range from 3 working days for a focused concept to 8 working days for the Advanced two-piece scope, counted after complete inputs are available. Complex stone layouts, organic sculpting, missing measurements or major direction changes can require a custom timeline.
A revision is a refinement within the approved brief, such as proportion, dimension, setting or styling adjustments. A new piece, a materially different concept, added gemstones, a new mechanism or a new deliverable is a scope change rather than a revision.
Typical briefs include rings, engagement rings, pendants, earrings, bracelets, bangles, necklaces, signets and coordinated small collections. Highly organic sculpture, complex mechanical closures or large multi-SKU collections are assessed as custom scopes.
The standard packages cover design and digital deliverables, not physical manufacturing, casting, stone sourcing or metal procurement. If you need manufacturer coordination or additional production support, include that requirement in your enquiry so it can be scoped separately.
For CAD-inclusive packages, the model is reviewed for the agreed dimensions, stone seats, prongs or setting geometry, clearances and practical form. Final casting, shrinkage, finishing and workshop tolerances vary by manufacturer, so production approval remains a separate manufacturing responsibility.
The final custom deliverables are provided for the customer’s use under the agreed project terms. Customer-supplied assets remain subject to their existing ownership, and any third-party licensed material remains subject to its own license terms. If you need specific assignment or confidentiality terms, state them before work begins.

We hired the team for Fashion Design and needed a fashion design concept collection. The brief was handled carefully, especially around silhouette, proportion, materials, detailing, wearability, and range development. Communication stayed clear, and revisions were incorporated without losing the original direction. The final delivery gave us a more complete collection direction for sampling and presentation. Files were organized, practical to use, and clearly prepared for the next stage. The work felt tailored to our requirements rather than based on a generic template.

Our Fashion Design brief had several moving parts, but the process stayed focused. The team translated our requirements into a fashion design concept collection. We especially valued the attention to silhouette, proportion, materials, detailing, wearability, and range development. They responded quickly to comments and also explained when a requested change would weaken the design. The finished work resulted in a more complete collection direction for sampling and presentation. The handoff was polished, easy to review, and much stronger than our previous internal version.

They asked sensible questions early and paid close attention to silhouette, proportion, materials, detailing, wearability, and range development. That preparation reduced unnecessary revision rounds and kept decisions moving. The delivered work gave us a more complete collection direction for sampling and presentation. Source files were clean, consistent, and ready for the next step in our workflow.

The experience with Fashion Design was smooth and professional from start to finish. We needed a fashion design concept collection that would work in real use, not only in a mockup. The team considered silhouette, proportion, materials, detailing, wearability, and range development throughout the project. Comments were tracked properly, and each revision improved the work without drifting from the brief. The result gave us a more complete collection direction for sampling and presentation. We also appreciated receiving practical source files and useful variations for implementation.

This was our first time outsourcing Fashion Design, and the engagement was very well managed. We started with a rough direction for a fashion design concept collection. The strongest contribution was the attention to silhouette, proportion, materials, detailing, wearability, and range development. Detailed feedback was handled thoughtfully, and design choices were explained when we needed help deciding. By the end, we had a more complete collection direction for sampling and presentation. The final assets felt custom to the project and arrived in a clean, usable structure.

We chose this Fashion Design service because we wanted a specialist approach rather than a generic treatment. The team developed a fashion design concept collection with strong judgment around silhouette, proportion, materials, detailing, wearability, and range development. They followed our requirements while still introducing ideas we had not considered. Milestones were easy to review, and revisions stayed controlled even when priorities changed. The finished work gave us a more complete collection direction for sampling and presentation. Overall, the execution was thoughtful, dependable, and professionally handed over.
